(2017) In conversation with former CEO of Aspen Museum and collector: Nancy Magoon
"The work touch contacts a hyperpersonal experience with death while simultaneously breaching realms of identity politics and the current state of affairs in need of change in the U.S. culture. My aim is to create an extension of this work for a public sculpture garden in Marfa, Texas. The experience within this liminal space; to lay in the Earth, in a grave, perpetuates a transcendence of self and purpose. End hatred, end racism and find love."
